Cloud Computing & Cybersecurity
Offered in an Online-Hybrid Format!
IBT's Cloud Computing & Cybersecurity program is an online-hybrid program: students complete the four General Education courses and the 12 technical modules completely online, while attending three on-campus labs per module, held on Saturdays.
Graduates will receive their Associate of Occupational Studies, Cloud Computing & Cybersecurity degree, and will be prepared to obtain a portfolio of relevant professional certifications upon graduation, including the CompTIA, Cisco CCNA, Linux, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure certifications. Professional certifications such as these demonstrate your knowledge and skill level to prospective employers, thereby increasing your employment opportunities.

Commercial Refrigeration Heating & Air Conditioning
At IBT, we provide HVAC Technician students with hands-on practical training in electrical theory and controls, basic plumbing and welding and soldering using oxy acetylene torches. Our students learn the knowledge and skills to install, service, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems. IBT graduates are prepared to test for industry-recognized certifications such as:
- ESCO EPA certification
- HVAC Excellence
- 410A
- OSHA
Electrician
Electricians are in high demand! The Electrician program at IBT prepares students to begin an entry-level career in the electrical industry. Students learn electrical code, wiring installation, conduit bending, motors and transformer systems, as well as manual and electric industrial controls, and more. IBT's program provides hands-on, practical training to give students real-world experience.
Graduates will be capable of working in residential and industrial maintenance environments and will also be able to execute new construction electrical work. Graduates of IBT's Electrician program will be prepared to test for the State of California Electrical Trainee (ET) certification.
Lab Assistant/EKG Technician/Phlebotomist
IBT's Lab Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomist program prepares students for success in a variety of entry-level positions. IBT students learn to perform many important procedures, including laboratory procedures for hematology, bacteriology, urinalysis, electrocardiography, and phlebotomy. Upon completion of the program, students are CPR certified and are prepared to obtain the California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1) certification from the State of California.
Medical Assistant
IBT's Medical Assistant program trains students to fill a variety of positions in the medical field, including as a Medical Assistant, a Clinical or Administrative Assistant and a Medical Receptionist. IBT's program provides hands-on training so that students may practice in real life situations, rather than learning just from textbooks. IBT graduates will be prepared to obtain the Medical Assistant National Certification from the NCCT.
Medical Biller/Coder/Office Specialist
Now offered in an online-hybrid format!
IBT's Medical Biller/Coder/Office Assistant program trains students in the skills they need to enter a variety of entry-level positions in this rewarding healthcare field. IBT students learn comprehensive medical coding and billing procedures, current medical software and trends in the insurance industry. IBT graduates will be prepared to earn the Certified Professional Coder-A (CPC-A) certification from the AAPC certifying agency.
